My first favorite is the one that started it all for man.
The one that's so important for him to get if he is to have
faith in all the rest of the Scriptures.

GENESIS 1:1,
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.



This passage has always given me great peace
No matter what happens to the universe.

ROMANS 8:35-39

Who shall separate from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, not life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to seperate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.



Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament shewth his handiwork.



Psalm 95:4-6
In his hand are the deep places of the earth:
the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it:
and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
